It's a Girl!

It is official! On October 21, 1999, at 10:15am John became a father to Kameron Marie Horn.

Thank you to everyone for all of your love and support!

I think she looks like John!

Little Moments Big Fun

It’s a...

BABY

Our Sprout appears to be completely symmetrical and has functioning organs…everything we had prayed for. Sprout tips the scales at a whopping 12oz. Sprout seems to enjoy playing with its feet. We think our bebe is a shy one. Sprout covered its face a lot to avoid the mamarazzi, and appeared to sit cross legged.
Dad thinks Sprout is a relaxed laid back boy.
Mom thinks Sprout is a modest and cautious young lady like Kami.

Eli and the (almost) Great Escape
I had to change a diaper, so I left Eli in the living room as I have many times before. We are fully baby proof, so I thought. I blocked the entrance to the dining room, as I have done in the past with no problems. I could hear Eli babbling and quickly changed Andrew’s diaper. I looked around for Eli and I could hear him but could not see him…

Pumpin’ up the Party
Kameron is ready to strut her stuff on the big stage at OLSH this Sunday at 6:30. Please come out and support our star! Admission is free, so no excuses! The girls have really worked hard on their routine and deserve a huge round of applause!

The Fuddy Duddy’s Report
We are really hoping the next few weeks pay off in a big way. We have been super busy with tax season, strawberries and family stuff. I think by the beginning of May, we will be able to sit back and relax…until the baby arrives.
We are Team Horn!

Wide World of Horn

Our Sprout is growing and we are more than half way through our pregnancy! We are getting our first glimpse at our little one on Wednesday, March 12. If everything goes well, we will try to post the first pictures here next week.

Here is our mover and shaker:

Kameron is amazing. She just received her report card and her grades are excellent. Her teacher is really pleased with all of the books she has been reading. The OLSH Talent Show is 3/16 at 6:30…admission is free. Please come and root her on!
Kameron has made the choice not to cheer this year. We were really racking our brains trying to find an activity that would suit her since she doesn’t like to sweat or run, hates water in her face and is afraid of balls. We have settled on golf. Her first lesson is on 4/5.

Alas, John is home from his three day stint in Nashville, allowing me to have some much needed rest. My brain seems to be waning and the family thinks it is comical…haha.
The strawberry business is going well for its first few weeks. I am planning to hit up the bridal district by the end of the month. With wedding season on the horizon Team Horn may become very busy!
